Located steps away from the beautiful Holland Park in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, this elegantly furnished and comfortable 2 bedroom, spacious 1 bath flat is a superb way to enjoy living the London life.
Conveniently located just off Kensington High Street, you are in easy access to the many restaurants, Holland Park summer concerts, fabulous pubs and great shopping that the high street has to offer.
Easy access to 5 London Underground Tube stations that are a 10-12 minute walk or less make seeing all of the fabulous sights of London a breeze (Kensington High Street, Holland Park, Shepherds Bush, Earls Court and Olympia Station) At the corner, on Kensington High Street, the famous Routemaster buses F9 and F10 can also take you into the heart of London via Piccadilly Circus or Oxford Street.
The flat is located on the second floor of a Georgian building accessed by two staircases. There is no lift so is not suitable for handicapped travelers. It is bright and airy and very private with beautiful full grown trees at the front and overlooks a typically English and perfectly manicured communal garden at the rear where the bedrooms are located.
The master bedroom and guest suite are both good sized with English King sized beds (Queen sized for the Americans), wardrobes and chest of drawers with luxurious hotel sheets supplied by the concierge service, Heritage. The bathroom is clean and bright with a bath/shower combo, large sink and toilet and plenty of storage for your essentials. The hot water is on demand so you will never run out of hot water!
The main living area and open kitchen are tastefully decorated with antique leather smoking chairs and a double sofa. The flat comfortably accommodates 4 people. There is a dining table that also seats 4 for any meals you choose to have in the flat. The kitchen has its own bright south facing window. It is equipped with a brand new Vitamix blender, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, Miele dishwasher, small fridge and freezer and is well equipped for meals you may want to make yourself. There is also a washer and dryer combo machine.
The couple that own the flat are US/UK based. The flat has all the English charm you will love, with the convenience and comfort that Americans have grown accustomed to. The flat is their London escape and is much loved. It is very welcoming, warm, cozy and comfortable. The perfect retreat in fabulous London.

There are lots of beautiful examples of townhouses across the city from traditional townhouses like you might see in a Disney cartoon to luxury modern versions. 43 Holland Road (close to Kensington Olympia, London) is certainly a more traditional London townhouse, just like you might find Roger and Anita living in in Disney’s 101 Dalmations. Holland Road is stylish in a wonderfully old fashioned way, a place of secluded peace close to the heart of one of London’s most exclusive borough’s, the Royal Borough of Kensington with a wealth of attractions.
Your holiday home on Holland Road sits close to several of London’s top attractions and tourist destinations. Within a short walk (less than 5 minutes) is Olympia, one of London’s largest exhibition spaces. Head west from your apartment on Holland Road, and you’ll come to Hammersmith which is well known for theatres and live entertainment venues such as the Lyric theatre, Hammersmith Apollo and the Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Wander a little further down to the river and you’ll find great bars and pubs where you can catch a drink and watch the sunset over the Thames.
If you are looking for world class shopping, then the Westfield Shopping Centre, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe. You can find everything from top end designer labels to highstreet favourites. You’ll also find streets of restaurants, cafe’s and bars as well as a multiplex cinema.
The Kensington vacation apartment at 43 Holland Road is under 5 minutes walk from Kensington Olympia station. From here you can take tube and rail services across London, reaching Heathrow terminals 1,2 & 3 49 minutes or international train services via Eurostar in as little as 30 minutes.
