Mayfair is an affluent area in the West End of London towards the east edge of Hyde Park, in the City of Westminster, between Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly and Park Lane. It is one of the most expensive districts in London and the world.

Primarily thanks to the game Monopoly, where the area is deigned to have London’s most expensive property, Mayfair’s sharp reputation precedes it. The smart neighbourhood is named after the annual May Fair which used to take place on the site that is Shepherd Market today. Traditionally bordered by Hyde Park to the west, Oxford Street to the north, Pall Mall and Green Park to the south and Regent Street to the east, Mayfair contains some of London’s most exclusive luxury hotels, restaurants, shops, members’ clubs and private residences. Rents are among the highest in London and the world – which adds to the area’s exclusive feel. Important buildings in Mayfair include the Royal Academy of Arts, the Grosvenor House Hotel, Claridge’s, The Dorchester and the US Embassy in Grosvenor Square. Mayfair has also become an attractive location away from the City for private banks, hedge funds and wealth managers. Throw in the designer shops and art galleries of Old Bond Street, New Bond Street, Savile Row (home to some of the world’s most renowned tailors) and Conduit Street – and you begin to get a picture of just how exclusive the neighbourhood is.

Outstanding in every way from service to the apartment itself, I don’t think you could ask for a better location! Huge apartment, great layout and the dining area made a huge difference for eating in.

    Truly wonderful!

This apartment far exceeded our expectations in all aspects, beautifully appointed, well laid out and the most perfect location.

You can walk EVERYWHERE, to have Regent Street just a 1 min walk away is unbeatable, just perfect!

Do not hesitate to book this flat!

Very nice Apartment at Great Location

Me and the family stayed at this Mayfair apartment for a week during our stay in London. It is a very nice apartment with an efficient layout. But I doubt that you can find a better location. Seconds from Regent St., around 3 minutes to Oxford Circus tube station and Oxford st shops.

The kids where able to go out and about on their own, with so many restaurants and shops nearby. Cross Regent st. and you are in SOHO, with so many options, there were so many options.

Everyone can’t wait to get another opportunity to visit London again and stay at this great location.

    Strong Choice in Mayfair

We enjoyed our stay at 21 Maddox Street earlier this month. We found the property extremely well-located, well-furnished and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job, which is a key consideration for us, and the property management staff provided good service as well. The apartment was recently painted and had other cosmetic upgrades, and management did a nice job stocking soaps, shampoos and other essentials. The neighbors were a bit loud on Saturday evening (noise carries from the hallway very easily), the clothes washer/dryer was perhaps the loudest I’ve ever heard, and the dining area is cramped, but overall our impression of the property was favorable. Internet service was intermittent the first 2-3 days of our stay, but after I called the management office and requested they contact the internet service provider the service quickly improved. We would definitely recommend staying here.

    A Lovely Stay

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It is a good location; coffee shop just across the street. Close to the Tube station for easy access all around the city. Ground level entry is easy to get luggage in and out. Living area and kitchen on main floor; bedrooms and bathrooms on lower floor. Nice and quiet at night. Internet and television was good; nice big towels; comfortable beds. Plenty of supplies provided (toilet paper, soaps, etc.). Management was very good to work with us on our arrival time. We had a lovely London Holiday!
